Longest T20 Series in UAE

ICC approved 6 match T20 series.

"Because of the extreme daytime heat in the UAE at that time of the year, the CEC raised no objections to the principle of a six-match T20I series replacing the scheduled series of three ODIs and three T20Is should the PCB elect to make that switch."

There are couple of news to share with you people

1- Asam-ul-Haq defeated its Men's double event in Sami's in roland-Garros Paris, French open from Bryan brothers. These are same guys win againt asam and its indian partner last year in US Open. In another match Sania Mirza (wife of shoaib malik) Wins Mixed doubles.

2- Pakistan Wins its first ODI against srilanka in palakelle stadium sri lanka and up in series as 1-0.

3- India accepted a little bi-lateral series at the end of this year 2012, talks continues on venues.

4- Pakistan got great response for PPL season and Dubai and English companies are interested to invest as much as in IPL. Hope event will start soon.


5- Saeed Ajmal fixes its 2nd spot in ICC ranking in all formats. T-20, One-day and Test matches.

T 20 Battle ends as Win-Win situation

At the end of T20 series Pakistan and Sri lanka both are happy. Both teams use different combinations to check their junior and senior players in game. Like Pakistan try much new players in this series and some of them responses well.

Players not in this game before are

Come back :
Sohail Tanveer: A very good come back with Man of the Series performance
Muhammad Sami: A very good spell in 2nd T20 with 3 wickets hall on his best fast pace performance
Yasir Arafat: Come back after long time but get 3 early wickets to play good role
Ahmed Shehzad: Not performed well in 2nd T20 but a good knock in first T20 that shows his ability
Shoaib Malik: make a strong come back in both T20s.

New Players:
Yasir Anser: A very good wicket keeper and batsman. Perform well behind stumps.
Khalid Lateef: A quality batsman not performed in this series but has good track record in A class. Best of luck for rest of the series.
Raza Hassan: Not get chance but great way to get selection between world class players like Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi, Abdul rehman etc.

In same fashion SL test to play 2nd T20 with Anglu Mathews as a Captain. Mehala Jayawardene and Malinga are not in side.

With all these changes both teams play great and shows how T20 world cup will show its action in upcoming September tournament. Clearly shows spinners will dominate.
